Below are selected photography projects and explorations from my work. A short description is provided before each collection to give more context about the ideas behind them.

Classic Lighting

This portrait photography project explores classical lighting techniques to create portraits inspired by Baroque painting.

Red City

This collection, titled Red City, was photographed mostly in Masuleh village in the northern Iran. During my visit, the weather was foggy and chilly, and the mist created unique textures throughout the environment. Rust on metal doors, peeling paint, and weathered surfaces formed rich visual patterns shaped by the moisture in the air.

The combination of these aged textures with decorative elements created frames that feel both lively and slightly mysterious, capturing the quiet atmosphere of the village.

Bus Drivers

The photographs in this series were captured in Tehran. While commuting to my university, I often used public transportation. At the bus terminals, dozens of buses, yellow, blue, and sometimes covered with worn textures, waited in line to pick up passengers.

While waiting for my bus, I began photographing these vehicles. Soon, I discovered another perspective: through open doors and windows, I could see the drivers themselves. Many of them enjoyed being photographed and welcomed the moment of conversation, as if it offered a brief pause from their daily routine. One driver introduced me to his elementary-school son who had come to visit him at work. Some drivers smiled and posed for the camera, others looked tired, and some seemed lost in their own thoughts.

These quiet, human moments inspired me to dedicate this series to them, and I titled it Bus Drivers.
