Virtual Environment Building in Unreal Engine
For this project, my goal was to create concept art and character designs inspired by the classic children’s story Hansel and Gretel, reimagined through the lens of Middle Eastern culture, geography, ethnography, and art.
I used Unreal Engine 5 to build the environment and animate the characters, while also integrating interactive features that allowed players to control movement, laying the groundwork for a future playable experience. From stylized asset creation to basic gameplay mechanics, I explored a range of techniques to bring this world to life.
This project marks the first phase of a larger game development journey, combining cultural storytelling, interactive design, and real-time 3D production.

Testing Built
This is the character design of Gretel and the walk cycle.
For implementing the walk cycle, I created a flipbook in Unreal.
Blueprint class Game Mode
Nodes for defining the character's behavior. D: character moves right, A: character moves left. space: character jumps
For the ground where the character moves, I created a Tileset.
