HIVA

HIVA is an original fairytale about a young girl of the same name, who is raised by mermaids after losing her parents in a tragic accident at sea. The story follows her life journey as she grows up between two worlds, land and ocean, searching for identity, belonging, and freedom.
At its core, this story is inspired by the ongoing global refugee crisis, using fantasy to reflect real human experiences of loss, displacement, and resilience.
